The JBL Control SB2210 is a compact dual 10-inch subwoofer for installed sound systems that need real low-frequency output indoors or outdoors. Two 250 mm woven fiberglass cone drivers with long-excursion designs handle 500 W continuous pink noise with 2000 W peaks, reaching 38 Hz and 122 dB maximum SPL in half-space. Sensitivity of 95 dB means it produces high output without an oversized amplifier. The low-profile cabinet at 14 x 23.3 x 22.5 in fits under a bar, behind a banquette, on a patio deck or in a ceiling void where a taller cabinet will not go. Thirteen M6 insert points, including mounting for an optional U-bracket, give you flying and bracket options along with the four included floor-standing feet. The enclosure is high-impact polystyrene with 10 percent glass fill and an internal polyurethane co-mold, and the thermoset composite coated steel grille has three-layer foam backing. With the included MTC-PC2 terminal panel cover fitted, the cabinet carries an IP-45 rating, exceeds Mil Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature and UV, and passes Mil-Std-202F for salt spray. Screw-down terminals accept lugs or bare wire up to 12 AWG. An optional MTC-SBT300 transformer adds 70V and 100V operation for distributed systems. Finished in black, it suits restaurants, bars, patios, fitness studios, nightclubs and outdoor dining areas.
