CSM14

The JBL CSM 14 is a four-input, one-output commercial mixer for background music, paging and security audio. It gives a small installed system a single point of control: connect a music source, a paging microphone and a second program feed, set levels once, and the room runs itself. Inputs and the output use euro-block connectors for mic and line signals, with unbalanced RCA inputs for consumer sources such as a media player or streaming box. Independent bass and treble controls tune the system to the room, which matters in spaces with hard surfaces or low ceilings. Priority muting drops music automatically when a page comes in, and VOX ducking lowers background level whenever speech is detected, so announcements stay intelligible without anyone touching a knob. Phantom power at 27 VDC supports condenser microphones. An RJ45 connector works with JBL CSR-V in-wall volume controls over standard Ethernet cable, so staff can adjust level from the floor. The universal power supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, and the fanless 1U chassis at 1.7 x 8.6 x 11.9 in runs silently in a rack inside an occupied room.
