CSMA1120 [Open Box]

The JBL CSMA 1120 combines a mixer and a power amplifier in one fanless, one-rack-unit chassis, built for restaurants, bars, and cafes that need to combine several audio sources into a single 70V or 100V distributed system. Crown’s DriveCore technology shrinks the amplifier section into a compact, efficient design, and the unit powers 8 ohm and 4 ohm loads directly, as well as 70V and 100V speaker lines, without needing a separate step-up transformer.

The front panel keeps things simple with a volume control for each channel, a overall volume knob, and independent bass and treble adjustment, all surrounded by illuminated rings that stay visible in a dim dining room or bar. Balanced mic and line inputs sit alongside unbalanced RCA inputs and speaker connections on the back panel, and RJ45 connectors support an optional JBL CSR-V wall volume controller for adjusting sound from the floor. A universal power supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC, and the DriveCore design runs up to 80 percent more efficiently than older amplifier designs, which shows up as lower energy costs over years of daily operation. Every unit ships with a 3-year, no-fault, fully transferable warranty and Energy Star certification, backing up a design meant to run continuously behind a bar or in a back office for years.
