JBL CSR-V White Wall Volume Controller For Select CSM/CSMA/VMA Mixer Amplifiers

The JBL CSR-V is a wall-mount remote volume control for JBL CSM mixers, CSMA mixer-amplifiers and VMA units. It works on analog DC voltage logic control, so the audio signal stays in the rack and the wall plate carries no speaker-level wiring, which keeps the system quiet and the install simple. Wiring uses standard Cat 5 cable with RJ-45 connectors at distances up to 1000 ft (305 m) from the rack, enough to reach a host stand, front counter, back office or manager station in almost any building. Dual RJ45 connectors support loop-through wiring so more than one control point can share a single cable run. With the CSR-V in place, staff can raise or lower the volume of the source selected at the mixer without opening the rack or changing system settings, which prevents the accidental adjustments that happen when equipment sits in an accessible spot. The white finish matches standard switch plates and light-colored walls in dining rooms, retail floors and offices, so it reads as part of the building rather than added equipment.
