JRX215 15" Two-Way Passive PA Speaker

The JBL JRX215 is a 15-inch two-way passive loudspeaker built for DJs and bands who need road-ready sound reinforcement without an onboard amplifier. A 15-inch low-frequency driver with a 2.5-inch edge-wound ribbon voice coil pairs with a JBL 2414H-C compression driver mounted on a Progressive Transition waveguide, handling up to 1,000W peak (250W continuous) with a sensitivity of 99 dB and a max SPL of 129 dB. An advanced crossover design with high-voltage capacitors and heavy-gauge wire keeps the signal clean at volume, while SonicGuard circuitry protects the compression driver from excess power without cutting out mid-performance.

The 0.75-inch MDF enclosure, non-resonant all-steel handles, and 18-gauge perforated steel grille are built to take the abuse of regular load-in and load-out, and a dual-angle pole-mount socket tilts the cabinet 10 degrees for better coverage over an audience. With 90 x 50 degree dispersion and parallel Speakon and 1/4-inch inputs, the JRX215 works as a main PA cabinet, a monitor, or a mid-high element on top of a subwoofer for club dates, weddings, and mobile DJ setups.
