Product Description

The JBL LSR310S adds low end to a studio monitor system that runs out of extension where the mix needs it most. A custom 10-inch down-firing high-excursion driver works with JBL's patented Slip Stream port and a 200W Class D amplifier to reach 27 Hz and 113 dB peak output, holding that level for long stretches at full rated power.

The double-flared Slip Stream port shape is calculated to keep bass defined at low listening levels as well as loud ones, so quiet late-night sessions still tell you what is happening under 60 Hz. The XLF Extended Low Frequency setting is the standout feature: it applies the augmented bass tuning used in dance clubs, letting you check how a track will land on a large system before you commit. Put the LSR310S in a room corner with XLF active and you get a fast reality check on your kick and sub-bass balance.

Connections cover both professional and project setups. Balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs accept your interface or console output, and XLR outputs pass the signal on to your monitors. A -10 dBV / +4 dBu sensitivity switch matches the sub to consumer or professional source levels with no input overload. Crossover options are 80 Hz, XLF, or External, so the sub pairs with LSR305 and LSR308 monitors, any other studio monitor, or an outboard crossover in a larger rig. It also works as the .1 LFE channel in a surround system.

A detented volume control makes level matching repeatable. At 34.3 lb, the LSR310S sits under a desk or in a corner and stays put.

Features

    • Bass That Reaches 27 Hz

A 10-inch down-firing high-excursion driver and the patented Slip Stream port take your system to 27 Hz with 113 dB of peak output.

    • Hear It Like A Club Would

The XLF setting applies dance club bass tuning, so you can judge how a track will translate on a large system before you release it.

    • Fits Any Monitor Rig

Balanced XLR and TRS inputs plus XLR outputs let the sub sit between your interface and monitors, or serve as the .1 LFE channel in surround.

    • Matched To Your Source Levels

A -10 dBV / +4 dBu sensitivity switch lines up consumer and professional gear at the right input level with no risk of overload.

    • Repeatable Level Setting

The detented volume control lets you return to the same balance between sub and monitors every session instead of guessing by ear.
