Product Description

The JBL SRX900LA PB is a lightweight pull-back bracket for SRX906LA and SRX910LA line arrays. It attaches to the bottom cabinet of an array and connects to a rear center suspension point, which pulls the bottom of the array back and produces more downtilt than an SRX900 Series array frame can achieve on its own.

That extra downtilt is what covers a steeply raked balcony, a deep floor in a low-trim room, or a ballroom where the array has to hang high and still reach the front tables. Required downtilt angles are calculated in JBL Line Array Calculator 3, so the rigging plan is worked out before anyone climbs.

Load capacity is high for the size. The bracket carries up to 16 SRX906LA or 16 SRX910LA enclosures depending on array geometry, with a safe limit of 9 cabinets. A 1/2-inch shackle is included and attaches directly to the bracket.

Construction is high-grade steel with an anti-corrosion coating and a black powder coat finish. At 0.25 lb and 2.5 by 0.2 by 3.3 inches, it takes almost no room in a hardware case, which makes it reasonable to keep one in every array package rather than chasing it between jobs. Configuration details are covered in the SRX900 Series Rigging Manual.

Features

    • Aim Steeper Than The Frame Allows

Tying the bottom cabinet to a rear center suspension point produces downtilt an SRX900 array frame cannot reach on its own.

    • Covers Raked Rooms

The added angle puts sound on steep balconies, deep floors, and front tables in ballrooms where the array has to hang high.

    • Rated For Full Arrays

Mechanical limits allow up to 16 SRX906LA or SRX910LA cabinets depending on geometry, with a published safe limit of nine cabinets.

    • Planned Before You Climb

JBL Line Array Calculator 3 works out the required downtilt angle, so the rigging plan is settled before anyone goes up on the truss.

    • Weighs Almost Nothing

At 0.25 lb and 3.3 inches long, the bracket fits any hardware case, so every array package can carry one instead of sharing.
