JBL VRX928LA-WH 8" 400 Watt 2-Way Passive Line-Array Speaker in White

The VRX928LA-WH is a 28 lb 8-inch two-way passive line array cabinet finished in white DuraFlex, built for permanent installs where the room's decor rules out black boxes. Houses of worship, theaters, auditoriums, and nightclubs get array coverage in an enclosure that reads as part of the ceiling instead of hanging equipment. Acoustically it is the same approach as the black version: a Constant Curvature waveguide mounts two neodymium compression drivers on a continuous arc, and adding cabinets continues that arc so every driver in the array works as though it were one driver on a very long waveguide. Two HF drivers per box raise combined power handling and output past what a single driver reaches. Amplitude shading switches on the input plate shape coverage, letting the upper box in an array carry the distant rear of a room while a lower box is shaded back so the front of the listening area is not overloaded. A neodymium Differential Drive woofer keeps weight at 28 lb. Up to six cabinets may be suspended in one array for nominal vertical coverage of 90 degrees, using the JBL VRX-SMAF array frame sold separately, with a second frame available at the bottom as a pull-back when the array must aim sharply down. It pairs with the VRX915S-WH subwoofer.
