VRX932LA-1 12" 800W 2-Way Passive Line-Array Speaker in Black

The VRX932LA-1 is a 12-inch two-way line array speaker weighing 46 lb, built for arrays of up to six units in venues that need more output and reach than an 8-inch system provides. Three JBL 2408J compression drivers per enclosure sit on a Constant Curvature waveguide, so as more units join the array the high-frequency sections continue working together as a single, longer driver rather than three separate sources.

A Differential Drive woofer with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps handles low-frequency output while keeping the enclosure at a manageable weight for rigging, and integral hardware connects enclosures directly for a flown array without extra frames beyond the optional VRX932LA-AF kit. A dual angle pole socket also lets one or two units mount on a 35 mm pole or tripod stand, so the same speaker works for a flown line array in one venue and a ground-stacked PA rig in another. Amplitude shading switches balance HF output across units, directing more energy toward the back of a room while easing off closer to the stage.

At 13.5 by 23.5 by 14.8 inches, the enclosure uses 18mm 11-ply birch plywood with a black Duraflex finish, built to handle repeated setup and teardown for touring or rental use.
