The VRX932LA-1WH is a 46 lb 12-inch two-way passive line array cabinet finished in white DuraFlex and optimized for permanent installation, with no handles or pole mount attached. That matters in houses of worship, auditoriums, and theaters where the system has to hang once, stay put, and not draw attention against a light ceiling. A JBL 2262H 12-inch Differential Drive woofer with neodymium magnet, dual voice coils, and dual magnetic gaps carries the low end at 800W continuous. Three neodymium annular ring diaphragm compression drivers sit on a Constant Curvature waveguide, and as cabinets are added the arc continues uninterrupted, so all the drivers work together as if they were one driver on a very long waveguide. Amplitude shading switches on the input plate shape the array: the upper box can reach a distant balcony while the lower HF section is shaded back to keep the front of the listening area at a comfortable level. As many as six cabinets may be suspended in one array for up to 90 degrees of nominal vertical coverage using the VRX-AF array frame, sold separately, and a second frame can be added at the bottom as a pull-back when the array must aim sharply down. The cabinet was designed for use with VRX918S-WH subwoofers.
