The KD-T920BTS is a single-DIN CD receiver built for daily use in almost any vehicle. It plays CDs along with MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, and FLAC files from the front USB port, and streams audio over Bluetooth 4.2. JVC Streaming DJ keeps up to five Bluetooth devices paired at once so passengers can take turns picking songs, and two phones can stay connected full time, with calls to either one answered by a single key press. HFP 1.7 wideband speech gives hands-free calls better clarity and stronger noise reduction.

Power is rated at 50W x 4 maximum, or 22W x 4 full bandwidth at less than 1% THD, which covers a factory speaker upgrade on its own. Two pairs of 2.5V preamp outputs, selectable between rear and subwoofer, let you add an amplifier later without replacing the head unit. Tuning tools include a 13-band graphic EQ, 11 preset curves, time alignment, high- and low-pass filters, K2 processing, virtual surround, Sound Lift, and Volume Link EQ, which compensates for road noise at speed.

The 2-line VA LCD reads clearly from off-axis angles, and 2-zone variable-color illumination covers 32,768 color combinations per zone plus 10 animation patterns, so the panel can match your dash lighting. Amazon Alexa compatibility adds voice requests for music, volume, and news. It is SiriusXM Ready with the separate tuner, works with a third-party steering wheel control adapter (sold separately), charges phones at up to 1.5A, and has a detachable face panel for security.
