The 08GL78 is an 8-inch aluminum grille made for the square Kicker Solo-Baric L7 subwoofer. An 8-inch L7 usually ends up in a tight install: under a rear seat, behind a truck cab, in a hatch corner, or in a compact enclosure that shares space with cargo. Those are exactly the spots where a cone gets punctured.

The grille answers that with an aluminum face that takes the hit instead of the driver. The square opening follows the L7 square cone geometry, so coverage is complete across the surface and the frame sits flush against the subwoofer rather than standing proud of it.

Mounting uses the screw locations already on the L7 frame. There is no cutting, no drilling, and no custom bracket work; a screwdriver and a few minutes finish the job.
