Pair Kicker KMTED Marine Wakeboard Tower Enclosures for Dual 6" or 6.5" Speakers

The KMTED is a pair of empty tower enclosures, each sized to hold two 6.5-inch speakers, for four drivers on one tower. Buying them empty puts the speaker choice in your hands: they accept Kicker 6-1/2-inch coaxials, component sets, and horns, so the same enclosures can serve a mild cruising system or a high-output setup meant to be heard from the far end of a cove.

The housings are tough ABS, weather-proof, and built for a mount that stays exposed to sun and spray. Each enclosure rotates nine degrees on its axis in either direction, which is what lets you aim the drivers down toward the swim platform or back at a rider instead of firing over everyone. Aluminum tower-pipe clamps measure 2-5/8 in, and three adapter sizes are included for 2-1/4 in, 2-3/8 in, and 2-1/2 in tubing. The KMTAP adapter pack, sold separately, covers additional diameters.

Slotted mounting holes accept different speaker bolt patterns, so you are not locked into one model. Stainless-steel push-type connectors handle the wiring, and polyfill plus mounting hardware are in the box.

They are not restricted to boats either. The same clamps work on side-by-side roll cages, 4x4 roll bars, and shop-built stands, anywhere there is round tubing in range.
