6x8" Front Factory Speaker Replacement Kit For 1997-1998 Ford Expedition

This kit pairs Kicker's 43DSC6804 6x8-inch coaxial speakers with a Metra 72-5512 wiring harness so the front speakers in a 1997-1998 Ford Expedition can be swapped for an upgrade without cutting into the factory harness. Each speaker in the pair handles 200W peak and 50W RMS, with a recommended power range of 10 to 50W RMS per channel, more than enough headroom for a factory-power or mild aftermarket deck. A polypropylene midwoofer cone with EVC (Extended Voice Coil) technology and a ribbed, UV-treated foam surround push a fuller midbass than the stock driver, while the 1/2-inch Polyethylene-Naphthalate dome tweeter adds clarity on top without a separate crossover to install. At 4 ohms with a 90dB sensitivity rating and a frequency response of 45Hz to 20kHz, the pair plays clean across the full range a factory door speaker is asked to cover.
