The 43C104 is a 10-inch Comp subwoofer with a single 4-ohm voice coil, built to be the straightforward answer to a car with no bass. A single 4-ohm terminal is the simplest load most amplifiers see, so wiring is a two-wire job rather than a series-parallel puzzle.

Power handling is 300W peak and 150W RMS, with a recommended range of 50 to 150 watts RMS. That range covers everything from an entry amplifier to a mid-size mono block, and 86.2 dB sensitivity keeps output respectable without extreme power.

The cone is an injection-molded SoloKon on an optimized polyfoam ribbed surround, stitched twice for durability at the joint that fails first on cheap drivers. A rigid cone paired with 360-degree back bracing keeps the moving surface from flexing, which is what removes distortion at volume. Tinsel leads are woven into the spider using Spiralead technology so they cannot slap the cone, and a single high-temperature voice coil sits in front of a 45 oz magnet structure.

Frequency response runs 30 to 500 Hz. Mounting depth is 5-1/16 in with a 9-1/8 in cutout. Sealed enclosures from 1.0 to 2.4 cu ft give tighter output for daily driving; vented boxes from 1.25 to 1.75 cu ft trade some control for more output.
