The 43C124 is a 12-inch Comp subwoofer with a single 4-ohm voice coil, made for the strong low end most people are after when they add a sub. Twelve inches is the size that balances cone area against trunk space, and this one is built to deliver reliably rather than chase a headline number.

A thick polypropylene woofer cone sits behind a high-density UV-treated surround, so the cone resists both flex under power and breakdown from sunlight through a rear window. Behind it, 360-degree back bracing, a bumped back plate, a large magnet, and a high-temperature voice coil carry the load. Perimeter venting moves heat out of the motor, which is what keeps output steady on a long haul instead of fading as the coil warms.

Power handling is 300W peak and 150W RMS, with 100 to 150 watts RMS recommended. Sensitivity of 88.3 dB is high for the class, so it plays loud on moderate power. Frequency response reaches down to 27 Hz.
