The 43C154 is a 15-inch Comp subwoofer with a single 4-ohm voice coil. Fifteen inches is a deliberate choice: the extra cone area moves more air per stroke than a 12, which produces deeper output at lower excursion and a low end you feel in the seat rather than hear from the trunk.

A thick polypropylene cone carries signature white stitching on a high-density UV-treated surround, backed by 360-degree bracing so a cone this large does not flex out of shape at volume. A large magnet, high-temperature voice coil, and bumped back plate handle the power and the heat that follows it.

Ratings are 500W peak and 250W RMS, with 200 to 300 watts RMS recommended. Sensitivity of 90.3 dB is the standout number, since it means the sub reaches high output without demanding a large amplifier and the electrical upgrades that come with one. Frequency response starts at 25 Hz.

Plan the enclosure before you buy. Mounting depth is 7-7/16 in with a 13-11/16 in cutout, and sealed volumes run 2.25 to 5.0 cu ft while vented runs 3.0 to 4.0 cu ft. That is real trunk space, which is the trade for the output a 15 gives back.
