The 43CVR152 is a 15-inch CompVR subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils, rated 1000W peak and 500W RMS. The dual-coil layout is the point: two 2-ohm coils give you wiring options, letting you present the load your amplifier makes its rated power into rather than settling for whatever a single coil offers.

The cone is an injection-molded SoloKon that ties the woofer and back brace into one structure, so the moving surface stays rigid instead of flexing at high excursion. A ribbed Santoprene surround with red stitching binds the suspension to the cone, and a progressive-roll spider keeps cone motion linear and accurate at any volume level. A stamped steel basket holds vibration in check while the pair of high-temperature coils moves the cone hundreds of times a second.

Heat management is where a sub at this power level lives or dies. Perimeter venting circulates air through the motor and the UniPlate system redirects heat away from the motor structure, so the driver stays cool and consistent instead of compressing as it warms. Spiralead tinsel-lead technology keeps the leads from slapping the cone, and spring-loaded push terminals make the wiring quick.

Mounting depth is 8-3/16 in with a 13-11/16 in diameter. Sealed boxes run 1.8 to 5.2 cu ft and ported 3 to 5 cu ft, with 500 watts the recommended power. It is weather resistant, so marine installs are on the table alongside car audio.
