The Kicker 43DSC6704 is a pair of 6.75-inch two-way coaxial speakers made for vehicles that use the larger 6-3/4-inch door opening instead of a standard 6.5. The extra cone area moves more air, so midbass has more weight at the same power level. A stamped steel basket supports a rigid polypropylene cone and ribbed, UV-treated foam surround, and EVC (Extended Voice Coil) technology keeps cone motion accurate on a factory radio. The zero-protrusion 1/2-inch polyethylene-naphthalate dome tweeter uses a neodymium magnet and stays under the original grille without contact. Each speaker handles 240W peak and 60W RMS at 4 ohms, and pairing them with a four-channel amplifier raises output and keeps the sound clean at higher volume. Response runs 40 Hz to 20 kHz at 90 dB sensitivity. A 1-13/16-inch top-mount depth fits most factory door cavities, and grilles are included for kick panels and custom pods.
