Product Description

The Kicker 43DSC6804 is a pair of 6x8-inch two-way coaxial speakers for the oval door openings used in many Ford, Mazda, and other domestic and import vehicles. The oval frame drops into the factory cutout, so no adapter plate or panel cutting is needed. A ribbed, UV-treated foam surround and rigid polypropylene cone with EVC (Extended Voice Coil) technology give the deepest low end available from a full-range DS speaker, reaching down to 45 Hz. The 1/2-inch polyethylene-naphthalate dome tweeter handles treble and mounts flush so factory grilles stay in place. Each speaker takes 200W peak and 50W RMS, with a recommended range of 10 to 50W RMS per channel, so a factory radio runs them and a four-channel amplifier brings out their full range. Sensitivity is 90 dB. Mounting depth is 2-3/16 inches, which suits front doors and rear side panels with normal clearance behind the panel.
