The Kicker 44DL7S122 is a ported enclosure loaded with two Solo-Baric L7S 12-inch square subwoofers, wired to a single 2-ohm terminal. It handles 3000W peak and 1500W RMS, putting it in the range of serious daily systems and street competition builds rather than casual upgrades. The square L7S cone provides more surface area than a round 12, so the pair moves more air and reaches deeper at the same excursion. Enclosure construction is the other half of the story: thick MDF, a custom-designed vent and terminal cup, an extra-thick front baffle, and heavy internal bracing keep the panels from flexing and stealing output at high power. The box measures 33-3/4 inches wide by 16 inches tall, with a 16-1/4-inch top depth and 19-1/2-inch bottom depth, an angled shape made for trunks and SUV cargo areas. Frequency response runs 20 to 500 Hz at 89.9 dB sensitivity.
