The Kicker 44TL7S102 is a thin-profile ported enclosure loaded with a Solo-Baric L7S 10-inch square subwoofer and wired to a single 2-ohm terminal. The shape is the reason to buy it: a 6-1/2-inch top depth widening to 10 inches at the bottom lets the box sit flat against a truck rear wall or a sedan seat back, so 1200W peak and 600W RMS of output arrives without giving up the cargo area. The square L7S cone provides more surface area than a round 10, so it moves more air in the same footprint. Enclosure construction uses thick MDF with a custom engineered port design and heavy internal bracing, which keeps the panels quiet and turns amplifier power into output instead of cabinet flex.
