The Kicker 45KMTC8W is a pair of 8-inch coaxial marine tower speakers built for boaters who want more low-end than a 6.5-inch driver can deliver, finished in white to match lighter tower and hull colors. Each speaker mounts on a stainless steel and ABS clamp that fits 1.5 to 3.25 inch tubing and swivels a full 359 degrees on a tool-less cam and toggle system, so you can aim sound at the cockpit or a wakeboard rider and lock it in place by hand. A one-inch titanium tweeter and UV-treated polypropylene woofer with a Santoprene surround handle 150 watts RMS and 300 watts peak per speaker, with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 21 kHz and 92 dB sensitivity for noticeably deeper bass than the smaller KMTC65 line. The grille's built-in seven-color LED system adds lighting once the sun goes down, and 316L stainless mounting hardware along with an ASTM-rated UV and salt-fog resistant build keep the speakers looking and sounding right after repeated exposure to sun, spray, and humidity.
