The 45VL7R122 puts a 12-inch Solo-Baric L7R square subwoofer in a vented MDF cabinet with a custom angled back, built for trunk floors and the space behind SUV seats. It ships loaded and wired, so a single pair of leads from a mono amplifier finishes the job.

The L7R square cone is the core of the design. Patented ribbed corners, a UniPlate solid pole piece and backplate, and an injection-molded SoloKon cone add up to 20 percent more cone area than a round 12-inch driver, which means more air moved from the same mounting hole. The optimized front-facing port is tuned to 33 Hz, and sensitivity of 94 dB means the enclosure produces serious output before the amplifier is anywhere near its limit.

With 600 W RMS of recommended power and a single 2-ohm terminal, it matches cleanly with a mono amplifier. Heavy internal bracing controls cabinet resonance at high excursion, and reinforced MDF walls hold their shape through years of hard use.

The angled back gives it a tight fit against a rear seat back, and the 28-inch by 15-inch cabinet is proportioned for full-size trunks and SUV cargo areas. Rounded corners, thick black carpet, and an embroidered KICKER logo make it look finished from the moment the hatch opens, and the carpet absorbs the knocks of cargo shifting on the road. For deep, hard-hitting bass without a fabrication budget, this is the shortcut.
