L7T82 8" 700W Solo-Baric Subwoofer, 2-Ohm DVC

The Kicker L7T82 is an 8-inch thin-profile subwoofer for vehicles with the least amount of room to spare, whether that's a compact car or a tight custom install. Its square SoloKon cone uses 360-degree back bracing to cool the motor and cut distortion, while a ribbed, high-roll Santoprene surround handles high SPL without breaking down. The square shape moves 20 percent more air than a round driver of the same footprint, and a 2-3/4-inch mounting depth lets it slide into spaces where even a 10-inch L7T would not fit. Dual 2-ohm voice coils handle 700 watts peak and 350 watts RMS, and a UniPlate solid pole piece and backplate dissipate heat during long sessions at volume. A durable steel basket and bumped top plate add excursion and keep performance controlled. The L7T82 works in a sealed enclosure as small as 0.2 cubic feet or a vented box up to 1.2 cubic feet, and pairs naturally with a compact mono amplifier.
