Rated for 400W RMS with an 800W peak ceiling, it works in either a sealed enclosure, from 0.8 to 1.25 cubic feet, or a vented box, from 1.25 to 1.75 cubic feet, giving installers flexibility depending on the vehicle and the sound they're after. A 5-1/4 inch mounting depth and 9-1/8 inch mounting diameter fit most factory-size cutouts without custom fabrication. It's built as a standalone driver, so it pairs with whatever amplifier and enclosure the rest of the system calls for, from a budget mono amp to a higher-power setup for serious bass.
