The KICKER CompR 8-inch subwoofer delivers compact bass without giving up the build quality of the larger CompR line, built around a dual 4-ohm voice coil that simplifies single-amp wiring. Signature red double stitching bonds the Santoprene surround to the polypropylene cone, and SoloKon technology joins the cone to a vented back brace, creating one integrated unit that manages heat and reduces distortion. Forced Air Cooling helps the motor run about 25% cooler than earlier CompR subs, supporting more reliable output over time. Rated for 300W RMS with a 600W peak ceiling, it performs well in a sealed enclosure, from 0.4 to 1.0 cubic feet, or a vented box, from 0.8 to 1.2 cubic feet, both compact enough for smaller trunks or under-seat mounting. A 4-1/8 inch mounting depth and 7-inch mounting diameter make it practical for smaller vehicles or as a secondary sub in a larger install. As a standalone driver, it is built for real bass in a footprint smaller than a 10 or 12-inch subwoofer demands.
