KICKER 48KMA8001 800 Watt 1-Ohm Marine/Boat Mono Amplifier Sub Amp KMA800.1

The KMA800.1 is a mono Class D marine amplifier built for one job: powering a subwoofer on a boat. It delivers 800W into a 1-ohm load with 1200W of dynamic power, from a chassis only 8-1/16" long.

Bass control is where this amp earns its place. A variable 12dB low-pass crossover from 50 to 200Hz sets the handoff to your full-range speakers. A 24dB subsonic filter fixed at 25Hz keeps the woofer from wasting excursion on frequencies it cannot use, which protects the driver and keeps the amp working on audible bass. KickEQ adds up to 6dB of variable boost centered at 40Hz.

The included remote level control mounts at the helm, so bass comes down for conversation at anchor and back up when the boat is moving, without reaching for the amplifier. A full-range RCA output passes signal to another amplifier without running new cable from the source unit.

Construction follows the Real Marine standard: conformal-coated circuit board, ABYC and NMMA-compliant power connections, and 316L stainless-steel hardware included. Frequency response spans 10Hz to 20kHz with signal-to-noise above 95dB.

Its compact footprint suits pontoons, wake boats and center consoles where the sub amp has to fit in a locker alongside everything else.
