Pair Kicker 48KMXL654 300 Watt 6.5" Marine Boat Horn Loaded Speakers w/LED KMXL65

The KMXL65 is a pair of 6.5" marine horn-loaded compression speakers built to stay clear at volumes where standard coaxials start to sound harsh. The proprietary high-frequency horn design gives the series its character: high output that remains easy to listen to, even when the boat is moving and everyone is talking over it.

Each speaker uses a UV-treated, waterproof poly/carbon-fiber woofer cone with a 1-1/4" aluminum-dome tweeter and lightweight neodymium magnets, so output stays high without adding weight to a tower or panel. Rated impedance is 4 ohms, recommended amplifier power runs 15 to 150W RMS, peak handling is 300W, and sensitivity measures 92dB with response from 90Hz to 20kHz.

IP66 certification covers dust and water jets, which is what rain, spray and dock washdowns actually look like. Mounting depth is 3-3/16" with a 5-7/16" hole diameter, shallow enough for traditional speaker cutouts on most boats.

Integrated multi-color LED lighting is built into each speaker and works with the KMLC LED remote. Both white and charcoal grilles are included. These also mount in KM-Series empty enclosures for tower pods or surface installs where no cutout exists.
