One 12-inch CompC subwoofer, one ported cabinet, one afternoon install. The CompC 12-Inch Loaded Enclosure is the middle ground between a shallow under-seat box and a dual-sub wall: real 12-inch output from a cabinet that uses very little trunk space at 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall.

The custom port is tuned to 30 Hz, low enough to reproduce sustained bass rather than a single narrow thump. Sensitivity measures 95.3 dB, so the recommended 300 W RMS goes a long way, and peak handling reaches 600 W per ANSI/CTA-2031-A. A CXA400.1 is the matched amplifier.

Wiring is a single 2-ohm spring-loaded terminal that accepts bare wire, so you connect one mono amplifier and you are finished. The wedge cabinet measures 11-3/8 inches deep at the top and 14-1/2 inches at the bottom, letting it lean against a trunk wall or seat back and keep the rest of the space usable for luggage.

Heavy MDF handles the internal pressure of a ported design without panel flex, and thick black carpet with an embroidered KICKER logo protects the box from cargo scuffs while looking finished with no extra trim work. It suits sedans, coupes, hatchbacks, and small SUVs where a single 12 hits the balance between output and remaining cargo room.
