The LX850.1 is a monoblock Class-D amplifier sized for a single subwoofer or a modest pair in a car, truck, or SUV. It makes 850W RMS at 1-Ohm, 500W at 2-Ohm, and 300W at 4-Ohm, which covers the most common wiring options without oversizing the electrical system. Class-D output keeps current draw and operating temperature low, so the 9-7/16-inch chassis mounts under a seat or behind a panel and holds up to long listening sessions.

FIT+ technology accepts low-level signals from 125mV to 5V and speaker-level signals up to 40V, so the amp ties into a factory radio or an aftermarket head unit without a separate line-out converter, and differential inputs reject alternator whine. Gain-match LEDs show when input level is set correctly, which takes the guesswork out of setup and keeps distortion off the woofer. A 24dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley low-pass sweeps 40 to 160Hz and a matching subsonic filter sweeps 10 to 80Hz, protecting the sub from over-excursion in a ported box. KickEQ+ parametric bass boost adds 0 to 6dB with a variable 20-80Hz center and adjustable bandwidth, so you can lift the range your cabin loses instead of everything at once.

The included LXRC dash remote gives fingertip bass control and adds SHOCwave2.0, KICKER's second-generation sub-harmonic restoration algorithm that rebuilds low bass missing from compressed source material. The remote also displays battery voltage in a fuel-gauge readout, controls RGB brightness, and flags output clipping. Selectable turn-on modes and thermal, circuit, and voltage protection cover the install, while a reversible center panel and 11 RGB accent colors let the amp show off or disappear into the build.
