Kicker 52GL712 12" Steel Square Mesh Car Subwoofer Grille 4 Solo-Baric Sub GL712

The Kicker 52GL712 is a steel mesh grille sized for 12" Kicker Solo-Baric square subwoofers. It mounts over the cone and gives the sub a finished look while the mesh takes the contact that would otherwise reach the cone and surround: feet in a back seat, sliding cargo, a bag tossed into the hatch.

The square profile follows the Solo-Baric footprint, so the grille lines up with the frame instead of leaving gaps around the mounting ring. Formed steel holds its shape under pressure, which matters when the box doubles as a cargo floor in a hatchback or truck. The open mesh pattern keeps airflow and low-end output the same as a bare cone.

Fitment covers the 46L7T, 45L7R and 44L7S directly, plus the 49L7X and 41L7 when a spacer is used. If your enclosure puts the subwoofer within reach of passengers, pets or cargo, this is the part that keeps an exposed cone from taking damage during ordinary use.
