Mackie DL16SE 16-Channel Digital Rack Mixer w/Onyx+ Preamps+16x16 Interface

The Mackie DL16SE is a 16-channel digital rack mixer with no control surface: you mix from a tablet, phone or computer over Wi-Fi while the box lives on stage or in a rack. Sixteen inputs carry Onyx+ preamps across 8 XLR and 8 XLR/TRS combo jacks, two of which take high-impedance sources like a passive guitar or bass directly.

Control runs through the Master Fader SE app on iOS, Android, macOS or Windows, connected through your own wireless router over Ethernet. Up to 20 devices can connect at once, and access limiting lets performers adjust their own monitor mix without reaching critical mixer functions. There is no fixed front-of-house position, so you can tune the room from where the audience actually sits.

Processing is per channel: 4-band parametric EQ with a high-pass filter, gate, compression and an RTA/spectrograph for finding feedback fast. Eight output buses each get 4-band PEQ, high and low-pass filters, 31-band graphic EQ, compressor/limiter, alignment delay and RTA. You also get six aux sends, six subgroups, a main left/right bus, six VCAs, six mute groups and four stereo FX processors with reverbs, delays, choruses and flangers.

A 16x16 USB 2.0 interface records the show for later mixdown and plays it back for a virtual soundcheck before the band arrives. Waveform OEM software with the DAW Essentials Bundle is included. The stagebox chassis has a built-in handle and rack ears.
