Mackie DLZ Creator Adaptive Digital Mixer for Recording Podcasting and Streaming

The Mackie DLZ Creator is a digital mixer built for podcasts, streams, and multi-guest recordings, with a 10.1" full-color touchscreen in place of the menu diving that usually comes with this much processing. Three work modes decide how much of it you see: Easy for a fast first episode, Enhanced for more control over tone and mix, and Pro for full customization, including individual headphone mixes for each guest.

Four XLR/TRS combo inputs run Onyx80 preamps with up to 80 dB of gain, so quiet dynamic broadcast mics sound loud and clean without an inline booster. Two more stereo channels cover 1/4" and 1/8" sources, and a bi-directional Bluetooth channel brings in a remote caller or sends audio back out. Every channel has a 3-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, noise gate, de-esser, and compressor, plus Atomizer reverb and Chronotronic delay when you want effects.

DLZ Mix Agent walks you through channel setup, sets input levels automatically, and configures headphone outputs, while Auto Mix pulls down channels that are not receiving signal to hold a steady output level and reduce feedback. Record and stream to a Mac or PC through the 14x4 USB-C interface, or skip the computer and capture multitrack audio to MicroSD or a USB memory stick.

Nine 100mm faders, five color-coded rotary controls, and backlit mute, solo, and sample buttons keep your hands on hardware. Four headphone outputs with individual level control mean everyone at the table hears what they need.
