AP4-CH41

The AmpPRO AP4-CH41 lets you add an aftermarket amplifier to 2014-and-newer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles while keeping the factory radio in place. It connects to the vehicle's data bus and supplies a 4-channel variable output for your new amplifier, so the original radio keeps its fit, finish, and features: steering wheel controls, chimes, navigation prompts, and the factory screen all continue to work, and the dash stays untouched.

Coverage spans both amplified and non-amplified factory systems. On data-bus controlled amplified vehicles it works with every screen size, including the 12" unit. For non-amplified systems, Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator are covered across the 5", 7", and 8" screens, while other models require the 7" or 8" screen. Chrysler 200, Jeep Cherokee, Maserati Levante, and Maserati Quattroporte applications require a factory amplifier already in the vehicle, since the AP4 cannot reconfigure those radios to act as though an amplifier is present.

That range suits a variety of builds: adding a subwoofer to an already amplified truck, upgrading all four cabin speakers with a matched amplifier, or building a full system in a Wrangler. One planning note for non-amplified vehicles: after the radio is reconfigured, it no longer powers the cabin speakers, so every speaker must run through an added amplifier. A subwoofer-only install is not an option on those vehicles. Non-amplified vehicles with Active Noise Cancellation, including the 2017-2019 Chrysler Pacifica, 2015-2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and 2019 RAM truck, need the ANC module bypassed either manually or with an ANC bypass harness.
