Product Description

This bundle pairs two matched component sets of MB Quart FSB216 6.5" Component speakers, so every set carries the same tone and output front to back instead of mixing brands to fill out a system. It fits a two-way component front stage, with the tweeter mounted apart from the midbass driver, which makes a two-set bundle the simpler way to cover a full car instead of buying single sets twice. Each speaker pairs an aluminum dome tweeter with a thermal-formed polypropylene cone, handling 280W peak power (140W RMS) per pair across a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz. A butyl rubber surround holds its shape through hot summers and cold winters, and the pure copper voice coil, wound on a Kapton former, sheds heat fast enough for sustained volume without breaking down. The external passive Butterworth crossover sits in its own housing that can be tucked out of sight, splitting signal cleanly between the tweeter and midbass driver instead of running both off a single internal network. A heavy-gauge stamped steel frame keeps the basket rigid under road vibration, and spade connectors or direct soldering both work at install. With a mounting cutout of 5.59" and a chassis depth of 2.12", these speakers drop into a wide range of factory locations without new cuts. Buying the two sets together means the whole car gets upgraded in one order, with matched output front to back.

Features

    • Aluminum Dome Tweeters

Aluminum dome tweeters handle the high end with wide dispersion, so vocals and cymbals stay clear even as you push the volume up.

    • Butyl Rubber Surrounds

Butyl rubber surrounds hold their shape across hot summers and cold winters, so bass response does not drift as the seasons change.

    • Thermal-Formed Polypropylene Cones

Lightweight polypropylene cones move fast without flexing under power, keeping midrange vocals and instruments distinct instead of muddy.

    • External Passive Crossover

A Butterworth crossover in its own housing splits signal to the tweeter and midbass driver, and it hides out of sight during installation while handling up to 280W peak per pair.

    • Heavy-Gauge Stamped Steel Frame

A progressive-die stamped steel frame keeps the basket rigid under road vibration, so the cone stays centered over the long run.
