The internal amplifier puts out four channels at 20 W RMS and 40 W peak each, and a subwoofer pre-amp output at 4.0 V stays available so those four channels keep running speakers while an external amplifier handles bass. Bluetooth 4.0 with Secure Simple Pairing and Quick-Pair connects to the last used device the moment the unit powers up, and first-time pairing is a single selection from your phone. Apple control gives quick access to music apps on iPhone, iPod, and iPad, and there is one USB input plus one pair of RCA aux inputs.
