The MB Quart MBQRG2-S6R is a 500 W six-speaker audio roof for the 2018-current Polaris RANGER 1000 and XP 1000. Instead of cutting panels and mounting speakers around the cab, the entire system lives in a high-impact HDPE composite roof that mounts to the OEM roll cage, which puts six speakers overhead and aimed down at the occupants. Six powersports specific 6.5-inch coaxial speakers use composite cone midranges for deep, accurate mid-bass and 0.75-inch titanium dome tweeters for clear high frequencies. A 500 W five channel full range Class D amplifier is integrated into the roof with enough output to run every speaker. Control comes from a dash-mounted 3.5-inch GMR-LCD source unit with AM/FM, Bluetooth, and USB input. Bluetooth version 5 with Secure Simple Pairing gives a reliable connection at up to 32 feet, and Memory Sync reconnects to the last device automatically at power up. There are two USB-A connections, and operation is a main knob with menu selection. System frequency response runs 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and everything carries an IP67 rating for water and dust.
