MTC-416WG

The MTC-416WG is a pair of weatherized, full-face magnetic grilles built for JBL Control 416 ceiling speakers in rooms where moisture would eventually rust a standard grille. Each one is galvanized steel with a polyester powder-coated finish that passes 200 hours of salt-spray testing and 100 hours of UV testing, so the grille holds up through years of humid air instead of becoming the first part of the install that needs replacing.

Swapping them in is simple: remove the stock grille, plug the pre-attached safety tether into the socket on the speaker baffle, and set the grille in place with its magnetic attachment. The tether keeps the grille connected if it gets knocked loose during service, which matters when it sits above a pool deck or a dining room. The white finish gives light ceilings a clean, low-profile look, and it can be painted when a project calls for a custom color. Use the pair to outfit Control 416 speakers in indoor pools, locker rooms, spas, restaurant kitchens, and covered patios or walkways protected from direct weather.
