5510-22 10" Subwoofer + KRYPTON-M1 Amplifier & Amp Kit

This bundle gives a single 10 inch subwoofer the power and wiring to run properly. The MTX 5510-22 handles 400 watts RMS and 800 watts peak at 2 ohms, built with an Inverted Apex surround for extra air displacement and Spider Plateau Venting for heat management during long play. The Rockville KRYPTON-M1 mono amplifier powers it with 350 watts RMS at 2 ohms (500 watts at 1 ohm), well matched to the sub's rated power without leaving it underpowered or clipped at reasonable gain settings.

What sets the KRYPTON-M1 apart is its bass remote with a built-in clipping indicator, which lets the gain get set right at the edge of distortion on any track in real time rather than guessing based on a single test tone. A digital voltage display on the amp face shows battery health at a glance, and a 12dB adjustable bass EQ shapes the low end without over-boosting frequencies the sub cannot handle cleanly. The RWK41 kit completes the setup with 4-gauge power and ground cable, twisted-pair copper RCAs, and a 60 amp fuse, sized to carry the amp's full output without voltage loss. Everything needed to wire one subwoofer to one amplifier ships together.
