Product Description

The Terminator TNP212D2 is a complete bass package: a dual 12" sealed enclosure loaded with two Terminator subwoofers plus a matched class D mono amplifier. Because the enclosure is pre-wired to a 2-ohm load and the amplifier is rated at that impedance, there is no guesswork about matching components. The subwoofers handle 400W RMS and 1200W peak combined, using 2" aluminum voice coils, polypropylene cones, rubber surrounds, and 48 oz magnets, with response from 37Hz to 150Hz. The enclosure is 5/8" MDF wrapped in durable black carpet with a logo detail. The amplifier supplies 250W RMS at 2 ohms with a built-in low pass filter at 85Hz, selectable bass boost of 0, 6, or 12dB at 40Hz, and mono gain control, so tuning happens in one place. Smart Engage auto turn-on simplifies installation with factory radios, adaptive cooling fans keep temperatures in check, and LED power and protection indicators show status at a glance. The amp is CEA-2006 compliant, so its ratings reflect measured output. Plan on 8 AWG power and ground wire.
