The WET500.1 is a mono block class D amplifier built for boats and off-road vehicles, where an amplifier faces water, salt air, dust, and constant vibration. It produces 500W RMS at 2 ohms and 300W at 4 ohms with 1000W peak capability, and 2-ohm stability makes it a direct match for running two WET series subwoofers. Marine hardening runs through the design. The circuit board is conformal coated so moisture that reaches the chassis will not corrode traces, surface mount construction bonds components securely against vibration from wave impacts and trail hits, and stainless steel hardware resists rust. Rubber gaskets seal the RCA connectors and plastic covers shield the control adjustments, giving the unit an IP55 rating.
