The WET77-W is a pair of 7.7" coaxial marine speakers in white, rated 75W RMS and 150W peak each. The larger 7.7" cone is the reason to choose these over a 6.5": more radiating area moves more air, so midbass has weight at 50Hz and music stays full in open air rather than thinning out. Response runs from 50Hz to 20kHz with a Teteron tweeter handling the top end. Construction targets marine and off-road duty. The polypropylene cone is water resistant, a sealed ABS basket protects the internal motor structure from spray, silicone insulated tinsel leads tolerate flex and moisture, and gold plated terminals resist corrosion at the connection. The ASA grille includes a UV inhibitor so the white finish does not yellow or chalk after seasons in the sun. Mounted in a sealed enclosure, these speakers meet IP67 weather resistance.
