Product Description

The GS7465 Professional Flip-It A-Frame Guitar Stand locks a guitar in place instead of just leaning it. The upper yoke carries a spring-loaded latch that closes itself around the neck when the guitar is set down, so a bump from a bandmate or a tug on a cable does not put the guitar on the floor. Flip the latch down to lift the guitar out and it springs back up on its own.

The lower yoke is angled back at a 10-degree tilt to keep the body from tipping forward, and it is stepped into two sections that hold the depth of a solid-body electric in one and a deeper acoustic or bass in the other. EVA rubber padding on both yokes keeps the finish unmarked.

A heavy-duty A-frame base of 1" square tubing sits on a 21" x 14.5" x 14.5" footprint for balance on stage decking and carpet alike. Height adjusts from 18.5" to 26.5", and for transport the upper yoke shaft detaches and inserts between the base legs, flattening the stand for a gig bag or a trunk.

It fits players who work a busy stage where guitars get bumped, studios where the take-ready guitar sits close to the chair and the mic stands, and rehearsal rooms that see hard use. Anyone who has watched a guitar slide off an open stand will recognize what the latch is for.

Features

    • Latched, Not Leaned

The Flip-It yoke's spring-loaded latch closes itself around the neck when you set the guitar down, so a bump or cable pull cannot dislodge it.

    • Two Zones, Any Body Depth

A stepped lower yoke gives one section for thin solid-body electrics and a deeper one for acoustics and basses, holding each snugly.

    • Angled To Stay Back

The lower yoke tilts back 10 degrees so the body settles into the stand rather than pitching forward off the front.

    • Solid On Any Floor

A heavy-duty A-frame of 1" square tubing on a 21" x 14.5" footprint keeps the stand balanced on stage decking, carpet, or concrete.

    • Breaks Down For Travel

The upper yoke shaft detaches and inserts between the base legs, flattening the stand for a gig bag or a packed trunk.
