HPWB2700 Mountable Woodblock

The HPWB2700 Woodblock brings a percussion staple to a kit or rack setup with a bold, high-pitched voice that reads clearly in a dense mix. Balata wood gives it a rich, musical tone rather than a dry click, so it carries across a full band onstage and holds its own in a studio track without heavy processing.

The built-in forged eye-bolt clamp mounts to percussion rods 8.5 to 9.5 mm in diameter, so it drops into an existing drum kit, percussion tree, or rack without adapters. Position it once and it stays put through hard playing.

Wood construction stands up to repeated hard strikes, keeping the tone consistent through a long set instead of dulling out. At 7" x 2.6" x 1.4" it takes almost no space on a crowded rack, and the steel mount keeps the block from creeping under vibration.

The sound fits Latin, jazz, pop, worship, and orchestral work: clave patterns in a salsa band, accents on two and four in pop, a texture layer in a film cue, or a rhythm anchor in a school percussion ensemble.
