MSA7040TB Telescoping Microphone Boom with Cable Management Clip

The MSA7040TB Telescoping Mic Boom mounts to a standard mic stand and puts the capsule where the sound is. Extension adjusts from 19" to 32", vertical rotation and horizontal swivel move independently, and up to 320 degrees of rotation opens angles a straight stand cannot reach: over a drum kit, in front of a guitar cabinet, or down onto a snare from above. A counterweight balances the mic so the boom holds its angle instead of drifting during a set, which also takes strain off the clutch. Heavy-duty construction with additional pads and washers adds stability, and a tightening washer secures mic clips from below so a clip cannot spin loose mid-song. An included cable clip keeps the mic lead running along the boom instead of drooping into sight lines or catching on gear. The 5/8"-27 threading fits standard mic stands, clips, and shock mounts, so the boom drops into a rig you already own. Useful for tracking sessions, drum and amp miking, podcast and streaming desks, worship platforms, and any stage where floor space forces you to reach in from the side.
