MSA9720TB Telescoping Microphone Boom Arm

The MSA9720TB Telescoping Mic Boom mounts to a standard mic stand and moves the capsule to the sound instead of moving the stand into the way. Extension adjusts from 19" to 30", vertical rotation and horizontal swivel work independently, and up to 320 degrees of rotation covers angles a straight stand cannot: overhead on a drum kit, in front of a cabinet grille, or across a desk toward a host. Steel construction with additional nonslip pads and a heavy-duty washer keeps the arm stable under a loaded clip, and a tightening washer secures mic clips from below so they cannot spin loose during a performance. A counterweight balances the mic so the boom holds its position through a full take rather than creeping downward. An included cable clip keeps the mic lead along the boom and out of sight lines. Standard 5/8"-27 threading fits common mic stands, clips, and shock mounts. A solid pick for recording rooms, live stages, podcast and streaming desks, worship platforms, schools, and rehearsal spaces where a straight stand cannot get close enough.
