MY120 Unbreakable Rubber Condenser Microphone Clip

The MY120 is the mic clip you stop worrying about. Instead of a rigid plastic collar that breaks the first time a stand tips over, the shaft is molded rubber that flexes under load and returns to its original shape. That elasticity makes it close to unbreakable and lets one clip fit pencil condensers from an 18mm relaxed diameter out to 22mm, so a single part covers most small-diaphragm mics in a typical locker. A ribbed interior texture grips the barrel so the mic does not slide when a boom is angled steeply over a drum kit or an acoustic guitar. The rubber body also absorbs some of the vibration traveling up the stand, which keeps footfalls and stage rumble out of a sensitive condenser.
