SB4-2500D

The SB4-2500D is a four-channel Class D car amplifier from the SABER series, built to put real power behind a full set of speakers without taking up much space. It makes 150W RMS per channel at 4 ohms, 225W RMS per channel at 2 ohms, and 450W RMS x 2 bridged at 4 ohms, with 2,500W max power, and it is stable at 2 ohms.

Class D output topology is what keeps the chassis to 5.00" wide, 8.00" long, and 2.00" tall while still making that power. A MOSFET power supply with audiophile grade IR transistors feeds the output stage, and a military grade SMT circuit board holds up dynamic performance under load. Direct short, thermal, and overload protection circuits handle the conditions that kill amplifiers in hot trunks.

The four channels give you options: run front and rear speakers full range, power a front component set and bridge the rear pair into a subwoofer, or bridge both pairs for two 450W subwoofer channels. High-pass and low-pass crossovers at 12dB per octave set the range each channel plays, and a 12dB bass boost adds low-octave harmonics where you want more weight.

Inputs cover 200mV to 6V low-level RCA plus a high-level input with signal sense auto turn-on, so a factory radio with no remote turn-on lead still works. Power and speaker connections both accept 8-gauge wire, and the narrow chassis mounts on a side panel, under a seat, or on a compact rack.
