Product Description

The Precision Power MPA700.4D is a water-resistant Class D four-channel amplifier from the ATOM Series, built to run a full marine or powersports audio system from one compact chassis. It delivers 100W RMS per channel at 4 ohms and 175W RMS per channel at 2 ohms, and bridges to two channels at 350W RMS each at 4 ohms. That gives you one amp for four speakers, two speakers plus a subwoofer, or a pair of high-output tower speakers.

Class D circuitry keeps the footprint small and the current draw reasonable, which matters when you are working with limited space and a single battery on a boat, side-by-side, or ATV. Signal inputs, power and ground terminals, and speaker connections all sit along the leading edge of the chassis, so wiring stays on one side and tucks into tight console or under-seat locations. Pre-amp and crossover controls are grouped on the back panel and stay reachable after the amp is mounted.

Mounting pedestals at each corner raise the heatsink off the mounting surface so air moves around and underneath the chassis for cooler operation in enclosed spaces. Rubber grommets under and inside each pedestal isolate the amplifier chassis from the vehicle chassis, cutting the path that creates ground loop noise.

Against the earlier ATOM and iOn platforms, the 2021 revision adds upgraded power supply and output stage components plus monoblock bridging capability, in the same reliable Class D package. The result is an amplifier suited to open-air installs where moisture, vibration, and heat are part of every trip.

Features

    • Built For Wet Environments

The water-resistant ATOM Series chassis handles spray, humidity, and open-air mounting on boats, side-by-sides, and ATVs without a sealed enclosure.

    • Power For Four Speakers

At 100W RMS per channel into 4 ohms and 175W into 2 ohms, one compact amplifier drives a full four-speaker system with clean, controlled output.

    • Bridge Down For Bigger Output

Monoblock bridging delivers 350W RMS x 2 at 4 ohms, so you can run tower speakers or add a subwoofer without buying a second amplifier.

    • Wiring Stays On One Side

Signal inputs, power, ground, and speaker connections sit along the leading edge of the chassis, keeping runs short and tidy in console or under-seat spots.

    • Cooler, Quieter Operation

Corner pedestals lift the heatsink for airflow underneath, while rubber grommets isolate the chassis from the vehicle to cut ground loop noise.
